Relaxing a little with the WINs at a BLM site about 8 miles from Safford, AZ. This is your quintessential desert spot. Nothing for miles around but desert flowers and mushrooms.

Roosevelt Lake, AZ. $8/day boondocking in Windy Hill camp ground. Great view of the lake from my spot. Main nearby attraction is the Cliff dwellings at Tonto National Monument. The dwellings were occupied from about 1275 to the early 1400s.
Grand Canyon: Here we have another pile of rocks but a very famous pile of rocks. Great place to visit but taking photos is difficult because so many thousands of people, some with better equipment and better eyes than I, have taken photos from just about every angle.
